About the Clinic
In light of recent findings highlighting the disparity in high school sports championships between affluent and economically disadvantaged towns in Connecticut, we are organizing this clinic to provide inner-city youth with equal access to basketball training and resources.
Our goal is to empower these young athletes and help level the playing field in Connecticut high school sports.

Addressing Wealth Inequality in Connecticut High School Sports
By Talia Moskowitz ’24, Web Sports Editor|OCTOBER 19, 2022
Over the past decade, teams from the five wealthiest towns in Connecticut have amassed over 159 state championships across all sports, while the state's 10 poorest towns only managed to secure 44 championships.
This disparity is evident even among the most decorated high schools, with Bloomfield standing out as the sole town with over 30 championships and a median income less than $100,000.
